Welcome to Parkgate Medical Centre.
Hello and welcome to our website. We’ve packed it full of useful information in a very easy to use format with the added benefit of several online functions.
The NHS is well prepared for outbreaks of new infectious diseases and has put in place measures to ensure the safety of all patients and NHS staff while also ensuring services are available to the public as normal.
When you attend the GP Surgery it is compulsory for everyone to wear a mask or face covering to protect everyone. We appreciate that this is not easy, but if you become unwell, do not worry, we understand and are trained to help. We need to protect our patients and our staff, so that we can continue to provide our service to you all.
We have made the decision to CLOSE Thorogate Medical Centre from 27th March 2020, this is temporary and will be reviewed regularly by our GP's. We would like to confirm Parkgate Medical centre will remain open, all GP's from Thorogate Surgery will now be based at Parkgate

This is a brief questionnaire which takes only seconds to complete. Please either click on the link below named, 'Take our patient survey' or alternatively by clicking on the link under the heading 'Have Your Say' to the right of the screen. All responses are completely anonymous.
Donation of face shields
We would like to express our thanks to the pupils and staff at Swinton Academy who kindly made and donated some face shields for our clinical staff.
We are minimising patient contact within our practice, however some patients still need to come to see us for specific treatment. Our patients can be assured that we have implemented social distancing measures and stringent cleaning processes and we are supplying hand sanitizer to patients who must attend to minimize risk.
Staff have PPE relevant for their roles, however your kind offer of safety visors have been gratefully received, our staff have been photographed wearing them.
